Research Fundamental Data

Fundamental data for a company gives you a look beyond the price, volume and other streaming indicators and may provide a more well-rounded view of a company. Fundamentals include earnings data, analyst ratings, and metrics around valuation, growth, financial strength and more.

You can view fundamentals on a company either by clicking the Research button in the Symbol Hub to flip from the Live Data view to Fundamental Data, or by going to Launch Tools and choosing Research. You may have up to 6 stand-alone Research tools open across all open layouts at once.

The Research display has four tabs. Click the links below for descriptions of the data in each tab.

• Summary - Shows basic information like market cap, industry, basic earnings and dividends, executives and a written business summary.
• Earnings - Shows more in-depth earnings and dividend figures and stock activities (such as splits).
• Ratings - Displays ratings from a variety of analysts, including the Schwab Equity Rating and Reuters, as well as recent insider activity.
• Metrics - Displays a wide range of metrics derived from fundamental data, such as valuation, growth and financial metrics, financial strength, management effectiveness, and margins.

TIP: You can click the button in the upper right corner of the Symbol Hub to shrink the Trade Ticket display and enlarge the Research display.

All data updates daily, and may not exactly match Schwab.com due to differences in timing and data providers.
